Brooke LangtonAs
a computer whiz whose identity was erased by an organization called the
Praetorian Guard, Brooke Langton stars as Angela Bennett, an attractive,
every-day woman who is learning to navigate the world on her own in THE
NET from Columbia TriStar Television Distribution for USA Network.
Brooke was no stranger to TV before landing the role on "Melrose
Place." Her other television credits include a starring role on the
ABC series "Extreme," and guest-appearances on CBS' critically
acclaimed "Chicago Hope," FOX's "Party of Five" and
NBC's "The Single Guy." Brooke has also starred in numerous
television movies, including "Mother's Deception," and one of
"The Young Indiana Jones" movies, working with George Lucas
and co-starring Sean Patrick Flannery for ABC.
Brooke has also maintained a burgeoning film career. She will next star
in the upcoming John Hughes produced feature, "Reach the Rock"
opposite Allesandro Nivola ("Face Off"). In the film, she plays
Lisa, the object of a young man's affection as he tries to woo her back.
Of course, who could forget Brooke's similar role in "Swingers,"
in which she played Nikki, the beautiful girl who Mike (John Favreau)
falls immediately in love with while ordering drinks. In what many believe
to be the film's most humorous moment, Mike repeatedly calls Nikki and
leaves countless messages on her machine, each more stupid than the last,
finally resulting in Nikki telling him to "
never call me again."
Brooke has also appeared in Disney's "Terminal Velocity" with
Charlie Sheen and "Mother" with Diane Ladd. Her independent
film career has included roles in "Ink with Djimon Hounsou ("Amistad")
and "Mixed Signals" with Jason London."
A natural athlete, Brooke is obsessed with snowboarding, water skiing
and scuba-diving. Brooke currently resides in Los Angeles with her two
large pound puppies, Riley and Baloo
